Thanks for joining us as we launch our business and endeavor to provide the greater Vancouver area with top-notch culinary mushrooms.
We are pumped up to be sharing our first-ever Cellar Mushrooms blog post! We’ll use this blog as a space to share morsels of news from the wild world of fungi; mouth-watering + family-friendly recipes; useful mushroom-related health and wellness tidbits; and a buffet of behind-the-scenes goodies about our business and team.
For today, first things first: Why did we decide to start a mushroom business?!
Because
we believe
your health and well-being matter. Cellar Mushrooms exists to reconnect you with traditional, medicinal food.
what you eat matters. We take pride in growing nature’s superfood: delicious, nutrient-dense mushrooms.
where your food comes from matters. We grow organically and sustainably on our family property in Vancouver, Washington.
how we do business matters. We’re a small, family-owned and -operated business of five siblings-turned-mushroom-farmers who love spending time together in work and play.
The last two years have taught our family there are no guarantees in this life. There are, however, opportunities to spend our minutes and days and years with people who matter to us, engaging in meaningful work, cultivating something good for people and good for this beautiful planet we’re grateful to inhabit together.
And so here we are!..teamed up as siblings, growing mushrooms we love, in a way we feel proud of, to nourish you and your loved ones at restaurants, through grocery stores, at your neighborhood farmer’s market, and at your home by way of Mr. McFeely-quality delivery.
